Dr. Marc Grushan Joins Capstone Risk Adjustment Services

The CareVention HealthCare team welcomes Marc H. Grushan, MD., who this month joins Capstone Risk Adjustment Services as a physician consultant. Dr. Grushan will deliver training in risk adjustment methodology and clinical documentation to physicians and other clinicians who practice in Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). He will also assist providers in identifying trends and gaps in data, analyze challenges with data submission, and troubleshoot data flow processes.


Prior to joining TRHC, Dr. Grushan served as medical director for TRU PACE in Lafayette, Colorado, where he led a primary care team managing patients in the clinic, home, long term care, and subacute rehab settings. Additionally, he supervised the monitoring and analysis of resource utilization and assisted the Interdisciplinary team (IDT) in adjusting care delivery to reduce over-utilization while maintaining quality of care and patient satisfaction. Dr. Grushan previously was center medical director for InnovAge Thornton PACE in Colorado.


Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Grushan has practiced in a hospice setting and a federally qualified community health center. He was an assistant professor and associate director for education at the University of Colorado Department of Family Medicine; in this role he oversaw the maintenance of the Rose Family Medicine Residency’s curriculum, with focus on the creation of a novel chronic pain management curriculum, which became a national model.


Dr. Grushan is a graduate of Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed his Family Medicine residency at University of Colorado where he now serves as assistant professor of geriatrics.
