Meet our leaders

Brian Adams serves as President and interim CEO of TRHC. Previously, he was President overseeing strategy, sales and account management, professional affairs, IT and software engineering, legal, human resources and finance. Formerly TRHC’s CFO, Adams guided TRHC through successful public and private debt and equity financing efforts and designed and implemented a plan to achieve profitability.

Carlos F. Perez, MSN, MBA, RN-BC, leads the effort to integrate the services within the CVHC division as the executive vice president of the PACE business unit. He is a registered nurse with more than 15 years of progressive leadership experience.

Michael S. Awadalla, PharmD, BCGP, CMWA, is a licensed pharmacist with extensive clinical and managerial experience. His role as executive vice president of the Office of Applied Pharmacotherapy is focused on the clinical application of the company’s medication decision support tools, including MedWise Safety ReviewsTM for TRHC.

Rachel A. Gilbert, MPS, CPhT, CPHQ, oversees Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts as senior director for CVHC. She has worked in multiple departments, which provides her with a rich understanding of operations throughout the portfolio.

Sarah R. Haines, MSW, MBA, CPhT, enjoys serving PACE organizations as CVHC’s area vice president of client development and account management. She directs PACE client development and sales in the western region of the United States.

Steve Wosje is senior vice president for CVHC. With a long history in PACE and a deep understanding of the client experience, Steve Wosje leads the CareVention HealthCare Product Team focused on PACElogicTM and TruChart®.

Ankur S. Patel, MD, MBA, FAAFP, is chief medical officer for CVHC. A geriatrician, Dr. Patel’s experience includes caring for the elderly in multiple settings, including acute care, post-acute care, nursing home, and Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).

Robert L. Alesiani, PharmD, BCGP, CMWA, leads the Medication Care Plan Support Center for CareKinesis. He is one of the first clinical pharmacists in the U.S. with training and expertise to provide personalized medicine, in particular, pharmacogenomic testing coordination and translation for people on high-risk medications.
