Upcoming webinars to give overview of transition plans

On January 29, CMS released the memo PACE Organization Risk Adjustment Submissions to the Encounter Data System. The memo directed programs to begin transitioning risk adjustment data submission to the Encounter Data System from the risk adjustment processing system (RAPS). Capstone Risk Adjustment Solutions has been planning for this transition for months.

“Our plan involves updating reporting, training staff to support the coding changes that will come with EDS, and crafting a client transition plan,” states Beth Eichfeld, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Program Management, for Tabula Rasa HealthCare and service line lead for Capstone. “Additionally, we are now facilitating the ingestion of clients’ encounter data related diagnoses. Thus, if we have received a client’s current MA-004 reports, that information has been integrated into clients’ quarterly CSL reporting, risk score projections, and HOpp reports.”

Capstone will be offering two webinars to share plans and help prepare clients for this notable change. Information shared will be the same for both sessions, so clients should register for one session only.

Register for the February 20, 2024, 4:00 p.m. (EST) session here.

The CareVention EHR/Integrated Technology and PeakTPA teams are also developing plans for this transition and will be contacting clients with further guidance.
