PeakTPA has received a successful SOC 1 Type 2 report for its EZ-CAP claims adjudication platform from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). The SOC 1 (Systems and Organization Controls) report, for organizations that impact clients’ financial reporting, examines an organization’s internal controls over financial reporting. A Type 2 report looks at the procedures and controls an organization has in place and how the organization operated these controls over a six-month audit period.
“We are pleased to achieve this certification,” said Tina Farrar, Vice President of Third Party Administration for CareVention HealthCare. “Our team worked hard towards this accomplishment. The enhancements to our processes and controls in preparation for the audit will strengthen operations well into the future.”
PeakTPA obtained SOC 1 Type 1 certification in 2020 and conducts annual recertification.
